WHERIFY'S WHERIFONE
Wherifone provides an affordable peace-of-mind to the parents. Through Wherifone parents can control who their child can call, and they can locate their child with a built-in global positioning capability. Wherifone can be precisely found via Web or phone access, and one can see its location on a street map or an aerial photo and one can also see where the phone has been throughout the day, and program for periodic updates. The Aided-GPS locator technology built into the phone lets it be seen in lightly obstructed areas, such as many types of wood frame buildings and vehicles, and under dense foliage.



The cell phone features of Wherifone are designed to be kid safe and simple to use. The phone's three top level onetouch dial buttons let your child reach key numbers quickly, while a 20-number phone book gives them access to additional important phone numbers. There is also an "SOS" panic button for emergencies.

iKIDS GPS PHONE
iKids GPS phone launched by mTrack in UK is a low radiation mobile phone for pre-teens that enables parents to locate their Kids at any time. The phone is designed with limited call capabilities and four numbered buttons. i-Kids uses the GPS technology, enabling parents to find the phone even when the device is switched off. It also provides features to receive the kids’ exact location on detailed maps. i-Kids handsets can receive calls from other land lines and mobile phones but it can only make calls to the four pre-programmed numbers that have been set by the child's parent. It can only receive text messages from other mobile users as it does not support the creating or sending of text messages from the handset. It has an Emergency button which will, when pressed, attempt to call each of the four pre-programmed numbers (1 through to 4) until one of the numbers is connected. This functionality will allow the person at the other end to assess the situation and alert the necessary individuals.

VERIZON MIGO
iDeveloped by LG, Migo is a rounded green phone. Two little stubby antennas stick out of the top one is for Verizon's network and one is for GPS services. Aimed at the 5-10-year-old age range, it has five buttons, four speed dials and an emergency button and a twoline text-only display.



It calls a few numbers that you program into the phone and receives calls from anyone. The phone prevents you from accidentally dialing numbers by requiring two key-presses for each call. To dial the emergency number, you must hold down the call button for several seconds. Verizon Wireless child-tracking service which uses GPS is called Verizon Chaperone. Chaperone will have three options that a parent can choose for the service: "always track", "ask to track" and "deny tracking service".
